The Difference Between Falling & Getting Down On The Floor On Purpose

Hi there, Mark and Brian here, coming to you from Fitness4Life. So we have had a special request to do a video on how to get up from being on the ground. This comes from Charlotte, a dear friend of ours and a patient, and she requested this and we thought it was a great idea. We get this question a lot: How can I get safely up and down on the ground?

It’s hard, and it can’t be dangerous in certain situations. So what we’re going to be talking about though is not if you fell, because if you fall, that’s a whole different ballgame and just a word of caution that if you do have a fall, do a self-assessment on yourself. If you feel like you may have by chance broken anything, do not move because if you do have a fracture, it’s very easy to cause further injuries trying to move.

Or if you’re moving a fractured bone, also, you can end up hurting yourself. Worse trying to get up if you can’t quite do it. So you should always call for help on that. But we’re going to be going over how to get safely up and down from the floor when you’re not having any problems and you did not fall.

We want to give you a couple exercises to train for that this as well, and we will show you the technique for doing it properly. Subscribe to our YouTube channel so you don’t miss a thing! You can also contact us at F4LPT.com.
